Why Choose Chiropractic Care?
A note from the Doctor’s Desk:
As I reflect back on the last 20 years, I remember clearly the day that I decided to become a Chiropractor. I had recently received my BS in Biological Sciences. I was interested in pursuing a career in health care but not necessarily in allopathic medicine. I was looking for something with a more natural and holistic approach. That day, I read a booklet describing the principles on which chiropractic was founded:
- that the structure of the body influences its function and that by correcting abnormalities in structure, normal function can be restored.
- that health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not just the absence of disease (holism).
- that the body has its own inherent healing power and ability to resist disease (homeostasis). The role of the chiropractor is to remove any interference to this natural healing capacity to allow the body to heal itself.
Wow! This made so much sense! I was hooked.
25 years later, I love that I still get excited about these basic principles. I love that every day I get to help people by relieving their pain and empowering them to achieve a greater state of health. And I love that I get to work with my head, my heart and my hands.
I know that I wouldn’t still be here without all of you. Thank you for trusting me with your chiropractic care and for helping to spread the word to others who might benefit from what chiropractic has to offer.
Thanks for a great 20 years!

Chiropractic is Holistic
Chiropractors recognize that you are more than the sum of your parts. We understand the importance of treating the whole person and not just the isolated symptoms or disease.
Chiropractic is Preventive
Chiropractors know that health is a state of optimum function and not merely the absence of disease. Our treatments are directed toward improving function rather than just fixing a symptom. By restoring optimum function, Chiropractic treatment can provide long-term pain relief and prevent future injury and disease.
Chiropractic is Natural
Your body has an amazing capacity to heal itself. Chiropractors work by removing the roadblocks or interferences to your body’s natural healing processes. Your body does the rest. And because we do not treat with drugs or surgery, Chiropractic is inherently safer than traditional medicine.
